Nickname	Gavin Spearhead - the name comes from the Bolt Thrower song Spearhead.
Main interests	Metal music, trains, computer, information security, SciFi, Cycling, the Bizarre
Religion	I have a strong aversion towards religions, in particular organised religions. They tend to make you dumb, oppress and breed fear. Hence I am following the left hand path that is solitary, individualistic, personal, based on self development, self analysis, self empowerment. This is expressed here by the Sigil of Baphomet. I do not belief in Satan or any supernatural powers.

I maintain a number of dedicated websites of which the Bolt Thrower FAQ and the Cover songs list are my main interests. Both have been on-line since 1995. Furthermore, there are some informative pages about me. Furthermore, here are two prorammes that I wrote: a conversion tool for HTML to plain text, which I don't work on anymore and a tool that spells out various codes written on trains.

Why do these pages look like shit?
There can be many reasons. The most common are probably these:

1. You're using an old browser that doesn't support Cascading Style Sheet, or frames or whatever. Although all of my pages should be usable with all browsers, inlcuding text-based ones such as Lynx.
2. This page is written in XHTML, which your browser might not fully support.
3. You're using Internet Explorer (IE), which makes many things look like shit and actually is a total piece of shit. I tested it on the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Opera and both work fine. Konqueror should also work perfectly.
4. I'm currently working on it. Try in reload the page in a minute or so. It may be solved already.
5. There is an error or other bug in one of the files of my homepage. It happens. Mail me!
6. There is something wrong with your eyes or head. Try getting some new glasses or stop drinking.

In any case, if you have any serious problems that aren't resolved on a re-load please let me know and e-mail me.

Most of these pages can be considered to be released on GPL FDL. Any information on my site can be used freely. Nathless notifying me and some credits is appreciated.

• Coversongs list - An extensive collection of cover songs, that I have built during several years.
• Urd - A web-based usenet binary downloader I'm currently working on with Styck. It is entirely written in PHP and uses a standard database like MySQL (Sourceforge project).
• Strawelte - Frisian punk rockers. I don't update this often.
• HTML2TXT Conversion utility - A utility I wrote some time ago, to convert HTML to plain text files. I don't work on it currently. Maybe I will re-write it some time.
• RIV2ASCII tool - A programme that dissects RIV and other codes, commonly spotted on freight wagons to readable text. It is still work in progress but qorks quite nicely already. I don't like the name much BTW, so if you have a better one, please mail me.
